Ayrton Senna won six Formula One races in five different circuits. His first victory came in 1985 at the Portuguese Grand Prix, driving for Lotus. He then won two consecutive championships in 1988 and 1989, driving for McLaren. In 1990, he won the championship again, winning six races that season, including the Japanese Grand Prix, which secured his third championship.
In 1991, he won his fourth championship, winning seven races throughout the season. He won five more races in 1992, but finished second in the championship to Williams driver Nigel Mansell.
Senna's final championship came in 1993, where he won five races, including the European Grand Prix, where he drove a masterful race to win in very wet conditions.
Senna's success in Formula One made him a national hero in Brazil, where he is still considered one of the greatest racing drivers of all time.
